The classic English Gown aka Nightgown aka Robe à l’Anglaise, 100% handsewn with period correct construction and stitching.
Listing includes the gown, matching petticoat and matching (unboned) stomacher.
This gown is based on the Larkin & Smith “English Gown” pattern. The fabric is a mid-weight quality linen from Lithuania (which a popular source of imported linens in the period, as well!). The bodice is lined in good quality white linen. The garments are sewn with Guterman linen threads.
