IN STOCK Georgian Fan – Pink & Blue Florals – Black & Gold Sticks with Black Lace

£35.00
sold out

IMPORTED FROM EUROPE

This gorgeous fan is screen printed with three bouquets of pink and blue flowers accented with gold leaves. The reverse side is plain white. The fan sticks are dark brown with delicate gold accents in a rococo style, made of a heavy duty resin. Setting off the floral design is a border of black lace edging the fan.

The fan measures 10 inches long when closed.

Unlike the other fans in my shop, this one was NOT made by Kimberly Walters t/a Sign of the Gray Horse, but it appears the maker sourced identical fan sticks and very similar screen-printed silk and lace of period-appropriate designs and very good quality. The application of the lace was not as carefully done as I would like to see (in particular, the ends of the lace are not cleanly finished) and the price reflects this. Nonetheless, this is a wonderful accessory for any Georgian ball gown ensemble.
