Every apron is 100% hand sewn as per the construction and style of the period, being typically 55-60in/140-150 cm wide and 30inches/75cm long, with the width gathered to a narrow waistband with linen tape ties. The finished width of the apron at your waist should be approximately half of your waist circumferences (as measured over stays and petticoats) but 16-18in/40-46cm will suit most.
This apron has a waistband measuring approx. 18 inches /45-46 cm, in the right range for UK sizes 14-18.
